

8/16 TCM Culinary Herb Deep Dive Lv.1
This 4-hour training is one of the most comprehensive, hands-on class to understand culinary herbs. The curriculum combines theories and clinical implications with actual cooking and cultural contexts of each herb, for you to truly understand everything about these ingredients. There are a total of 4 levels of this course, covering 50 herbs. This is Level 1 and includes: Dang Gui, Shan Zha, Gou Qi, Yi Ren, Huang Qi, Hong Zao, Jin Yin Hua, Hong Hua, Bai He, Hei Zhi Ma, Feng Mi, Ju Hua. The class is only taught in English for now. We will open Chinese classes based on requests.
The course includes:
Tasting of all herbs
1-2 cooking recipes per herb
Functions, case studies, cultural contexts of the herbs
* We will prepare aprons for you, but please wear close-toed shoes and clothing appropriate for cooking and standing for long periods of time. Please inform us at least 3 days in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.
