We are opening a seasonal TCM pop-up in SoHo, dedicated to promoting Traditional Chinese Medicine through immersive wellness experiences. We seek licensed TCM herbalists and assistants who can guide clients through personalized consultations and recommend custom formulas and herbal teas – helping customers experience TCM firsthand.
Location: Soho, NYC
Contract: Seasonal (End of June – Mid January) | Flexible Part-Time (1–4 days/week)
Hours: 11:00AM - 7:00PM
About the role
We are opening a seasonal TCM pop-up in SoHo, dedicated to promoting Traditional Chinese Medicine through immersive wellness experiences. We seek a licensed TCM herbalist who can guide clients through personalized consultations and recommend custom formulas and herbal teas – helping customers experience TCM firsthand.
Key Responsibilities:
Recommend custom TCM formulas and herbal teas.
Provide TCM consultations based on classic TCM theories, such as tongue, questions, and other TCM tools·
Prepare and pack herbal teas ·
Guide customers through a TCM experience – educate and inspire trust in TCM with clear and informative vocabulary.
Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workspace.
Work as a team with staff and colleagues.
Requirements:
Valid TCM Herbalist license or advanced degrees in TCM
Fluent in English (Chinese language proficiency is preferred but not required)
Advanced TCM knowledge with at least 3 years of experiences
Excellent communication skills and tidy work habits.

About the role
Support a licensed TCM herbalist in an herb apothecary pop-up that promotes TCM by offering a hands-on wellness experience. Ideal for a TCM or herbal medicine student.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the herbalist with intake, herb prep, and packing teas.
Help create a welcoming, educational TCM experience for visitors.
Restock ingredients, clean equipment, maintain hygiene.
Provide basic product information (no diagnosis).
Run errands within Soho if needed.Requirements:
